Eisenberg & Associates was founded in March 1997 and today conducts one of the largest immigration practices on the African continent. Although based in Cape Town, Eisenberg & Associates conducts a national immigration practice, and frequently takes instructions from foreign attorneys and corporate entities.

Gary Simon Eisenberg obtained his BA (Hon) Degree magna cum laude from Knox College, Illinois, USA, in 1988, and his JD from Tulane Law School, New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, in 1991. He is admitted to practice law in the jurisdictions of Washington DC, USA and South Africa.

In early 1997 he founded the law chambers of Eisenberg & Associates, a boutique law firm devoted exclusively to the practice of South African immigration and Nationality law, a field in which Mr Eisenberg has become pre-eminent. He specialises in all aspects of immigration practice under the Immigration Act of 2002 and citizenship under the South African Citizenship Act of 1995, as amended.

Eisenberg & Associates is widely briefed by attorneys, advocates, private and publically listed corporations and individuals both in South Africa and internationally. Mr. Eisenberg currently serves as South Africa's regional representative to the International Bar Association's Immigration & Nationality Law Committee and speaks regularly at international seminars and conferences.
