If you thought backpackers
only went to Australia and Thailand you’re absolutely
wrong. And you’ll see that for yourself once you set
foot on Capetonian ground. There’re cheap hostels
for backpackers everywhere you look! Inexpensive but clean,
and the people that work there are usually very kind. The
facilities in backpackers are also perfect, and they will
assist you in organizing activities and trips as well. Perfect
for your budget-holiday. It’s also a prejudice that
every backpacker is the same.
You’ll find something for everyone’s taste in
Cape Town.
If you just wanne have one big party, you’ll probably
go to the Ashanti lodge. It’s a little bit quieter
in the Oak Lodge, but hey, they also have a very cool bar
and an impressive video library you can use at any time
you like.
If you wanne be where the action is, you’ll probably
end up in the Cat & Moose or Longstreet Backpackers,
yep in Longstreet, where no one ever seems to sleep. Although
The Green Elephant is a little bit out of the city bowl,
you’ll still find plenty to do for backpackers here.
It’s situated in the middle of Observatory, where
all the students of Cape Town hang out. And they have a
damn good jaccuzi as well!
