Sun, Sea and beach. Oh yes I do!

Are you dreaming of a unique and special location to celebrate that beautiful moment when you get married? South Africa is truly a special and unique “world in one country”. Here you will find nature, sun, sea, mountains, a rich history and culture, game reserves, wine lands and a lovely climate. Choose one of these locations to get married! If you love the beach, then it is a very good idea to get married on a beautiful South African beach! It will be a dream wedding…

Fundisa Travel takes you to…
The sun is high in the sky, the sea dribbles softly against the coastline, the white sand is still untouched and a fresh wind softly blows the beginning of a beautiful day. Today, on Langebaan beach, nearby Cape Town, it will be a very special and unforgettable day. Rob and Sophie are going to get married at midday.

Getting married on the beach is associated with freedom, energy, warmth and inspiration. The Cape offers many possibilities to get hitched on a beach. For example: Camps Bay, Clifton, Llandudno or in the small and picturesque fishing village of Hout Bay. You can also choose to get married in an unique setting like Boulders Beach, with penguins providing the background ambiance or on Langebaan beach, a one-hour drive from Cape Town.

Getting married on a beach is not just the preserve of South Africans. Invite friends and family to your wedding, get them on a plane, and promise each other everlasting love while your feet is drenched in the sand and surf.

Don’t worry about the wedding flowers, wedding documents, the photographer and other important matters when getting married in South Africa. Fundisa Travel takes care of everything perfectly! You only need to take care of each other and enjoy South Africa!

A few minutes later…
Rob and Sophie’s guests are wearing a necklaces made of shells. A traditional South African band is rolling the drums and the local fisherman is preparing the ‘catch of the day’ on the braai (BBQ). The roasted fresh fish will be served for lunch after the ceremony. On the tables, Champagne glasses are sparkling in the sun.

South Africa is famous because of its breathtaking natural beauty and hospitality to foreigners from locals. During your visit to this country it will strike you that everybody is interested, warm and friendly.

Like a fairytale…
It is not like a fairytale, it is a fairytale! Sophie and Rob are dressed in white, surrounded by a beautiful ocean with dark gray mountains serving as a backdrop. The band stops the beating of the drums. The Marriage Officer speaks to the couple. You can only hear the waves, which is an amazing background sound. The fresh catch of the day is sizzling on the braai. For the rest though there is utter silence…

Rob and Sophie are kissing each other and put the wedding rings to each other’s fingers. The guests are sitting on the rocks, their hands filled with roseleaves, to throw over the happy couple as a sign of happiness and prosperity in the future. Many tears, of joy, are shed and the photographer is doing his best to record this beautiful moment.

The guests throw the roseleaves in the air, and the band starts to play. The couple is being congratulated by their guests with kisses and hugs: the perfect signal for an unforgettable ‘beach party’!!

Say ‘Yes I do’……surrounded by sharks!

For the truly divers, South Africa offers a very special way to get married: Say ‘Yes I do’ surrounded by sharks! What can be more exciting in life?

Getting married between lions, getting married while you are bungee jumping, getting married on the top of Table Mountain or getting married while you are jumping out of a helicopter! It is all possible! Getting married among sharks? Yes! Possible! Sure! Never heard of shark diving? These days many people in South Africa go for a shark dive to watch the white sharks and even…..to feed them. Of course there is a professional guide and you will be safe together in the cage. Shark diving is the newest and most popular outdoor activity in Hermanus and Gordon’s Bay (better known as Shark Alley).

With the love of your life, a dive instructor and a Marriage Officer, you will go under water in a very well protected iron cage. Together you wait until the sharks are showing their faces and the perfect moment is there…..You won’t hear ‘Yes I do’ under water, but nowadays there exists special (dive) body language or signs to say ‘Yes I do’, so no problem!

Don’t worry about the wedding documents, the photographer and other important matters when you are going to marry. Fundisa Travel will take care of all these things professionally and perfectly. You will only have to focus on each other and beautiful South Africa; in and above the water.

In the Western Cape of South Africa many different professional organizations offer you the opportunity for shark diving. It is definitely one of the most exciting and specials ways to say…….bubble bubble.. ‘Yes I do!!’ ..bubble bubble……
